About Uppercut Labs
Built from obsession.
A British digital product studio founded by Lawrence Ted Murdoch, working remotely with ambitious brands worldwide.

Building since age 12
Why it exists
The internet got boring. We wanted to make it exciting again.
Uppercut Labs exists because too much digital work gets split between template-led agencies, development teams with no visual point of view and design decks that never survive contact with the build.
The studio handles brand, interface and engineering together, then stays close enough to learn from what happens after launch.
The short version.
- 01
Age 12
Ted started building websites and experiments, learning by taking things apart and rebuilding them better.
- 02
The obsession
Building became inseparable from designing. Code that works but looks like nothing was never the point.
- 03
The studio
Uppercut Labs became the place where design and engineering could live under one roof.
- 04
The work
Websites, apps, software and digital products now carry that same standard from idea to launch.
